Residents who live near the Hunts Point train tracks are calling for Amtrak to clean up a pile of garbage near the tracks.
According to people in the neighborhood, people make holes in the fences to climb onto the tracks and leave garbage behind.
They say when residents complain to authorities, the tracks do get cleaned but no one stays on top of the problem.
Residents say the eyesore gives the neighborhood a bad name and takes away from the ongoing growth and development of the community.
Amtrak says it is aware of the problem but does not know when a site team will go check the area.
