Another check of that hyperlocal forecast. Definitely not as cold out there today and we have the sunshine too. So overall, this is just about as good as it gets for us. Not a bad way to close off the month, but we start off December with more clouds and a chance for a shower in the evening. It's mostly light rain, but it'll probably be around through the whole evening commute. Then the weekend comes with cloudy skies kind of spritzes and a little bit of drizzle. But as you see, temperatures have been kind of hovering close to 50 this afternoon and then we drop into the mid forties for any evening plans. So 7 p.m. dinner time looks cool but not cold. We're chilly in the morning time on Friday, a few spots close to freezing, but I'm expecting us to stay above it. And then Friday afternoon, temperatures are mostly in the mid forties with high temperatures close to 50 but it won't feel as warm tomorrow. And that's because we have cloudy skies. Here's a look at four o'clock seeing very light showers pass through the city and that will continue kind of on and off for us here in the Bronx at five o'clock, still some light showers tomorrow and then closing off Friday evening with just mainly cloudy skies. Those clouds just are so stubborn. Best chance of seeing the sun is gonna be on Saturday, but there's not much of it expect clouds to build overnight. Saturday with a few showers. If you have late Saturday evening plans, I'm talking after dinner time, Sunday, rain pretty much expected at some point in the afternoon or evening. Definitely not looking like a total wash at this point. But the later you get in the day, the better bahrain risk gets. So you need the umbrella there. Probably gonna need it for Monday morning too. That's still a few days out. But at least temperatures still look quite mild there and we're expecting high temperatures to stay only in the mid forties from the middle of next week. It's gonna be a little cool.

Check of our forecast. Michelle Powers, Michelle, what a difference a day makes and some sun. I know incredible temperatures are right where they should be. So this is what the end of November should feel like for us, that cold snap is now done. Temperatures are back. We're looking at some forties now as we jump into the evening hours and it's nice and dry. It's really nice when it's sunny too during the evening temperature change from yesterday, 12 degrees warmer in Bridgeport, it's 11 degrees warmer in you can. So basically that just tells you the entire story. Now, we have to talk about rain. That's the next step in our forecast process going into the weekend here right now, things are quiet and calm and dry. But this storm system over parts of the southern plains and deep south heads our way by tomorrow. So there is rain out ahead of it and it will be warm enough that this does fall as rain. It's quick, it's in, it's out the roads are going to be wet tomorrow evening. And unfortunately, that's not the end of the story. We have dry weather for now, but going into the weekend and coming out of the weekend there is some rain, so I'll be back with that full forecast. Be sure to stay with us Britney back to you.

Addison Green is now back with a look at that forecast and Addison, it looks like there may be a bit of a warm up this weekend. But what about those rain chances? Thankfully, Nikita, the uh warm up is coming along in with just a little bit of some shower activity. We're not talking about the weekend being in a wash up but Sunday, between the two weekend days, we have you perhaps be more inside than outside because we do anticipate seeing on and off showers, maybe some isolated sunny breaks if we're lucky. But the day to be out and about on Saturday, mostly cloudy, relatively mild for this time of the year. High temperatures getting up into the low to mid fifties, but we can't skip past Friday and we do have ourselves a relatively mild day coming away up a 40 to around 50 degrees coming through. The only problem is we're gonna be seeing a system come through, pushing away that sunshine giving us those rain chances as we start to make our way through the afternoon hours. But at least high pressure for the day today has displaced the cold air, mild air has moved up across the northeast, but here comes Friday showers as the system comes out of the southern plains and heads over this way. So let's put it all together for you going into. It's Friday morning. 830 we got 39 in pine bush, 37 Brewster, 40 degrees out there in New City towards the two o'clock hour, cloudy cover for everyone scattered showers moving along as well. Just light to maybe isolated batches of moderate rain coming on down. That will be the case towards the evening commute, 56 o'clock or so across the entire Hudson Valley area. But notice towards 8 to 9 o'clock showers are starting to wrap on up as that first system leaves us. Then here comes system number two with fast forward impasse Saturday into Sunday where my Sunday morning in through Sunday afternoon, we're seeing widespread scattered showers coming on in. Don't see a lot of that dark green or yellow or orange coming through. So we're not anticipating downpours and we're all of a sudden done from those two systems, maybe about half an inch or so of rain coming on down. So certainly nothing to cancel any plans over. Just prepare to have that umbrella by your side past Sunday into Monday, we're drying out, but unfortunately, cooling down. Once again, we see temperatures going down towards the low forties and upper thirties as we head into the first night of Hanukkah on Thursday.

Drivers out there, I will say one thing when people are going way below the speed limit, that's a problem that to me I think is you got to go with the flow. Exactly. Exactly. Today was such a beautiful day, wasn't it? And it felt warm. Normally the forties aren't warm, but after the cold snap, it was just really great and we have more mild weather ahead. But you can see on this map we have some changes too. Now, most of tomorrow is going to be dry, will kick your Friday off with some sunshine. But by the late afternoon and evening, we are tracking some rain. So after four o'clock, a batch of showers will come through moving pretty quick. And by 910 o'clock, the rain is out. It will be a dry start to the weekend, but we are going to see more clouds around the next few days. Tomorrow morning, 6 a.m. 42 it's not as cold. You see the clouds coming in two o'clock up to 50 degrees. There's that mild feel. And by six to eight o'clock in Long Beach, we have some showers. By 9, 10 o'clock, the rain is out. So in the morning, you see that clear weather that mild feel in the afternoon with the fifties but the clouds are moving in west southwest wind. Six o'clock, there's some of that rain from Hempstead to Bay Shore Fire Island light showers from Riverhead to Bridge Hampton. And by nine o'clock it's gone. So just a fast moving front rolling through at night, no problems and still mild for the weekend. So Saturday will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy. A little bit unsettled but no rain. Those scattered showers will return on Sunday looks like we might see some sprinkles in the morning. A heavier batch come through at night. But early next week it is turning drier. So fifties for the weekend showers ending Monday morning, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday next week looking pretty good. Cool with temps in the forties.

A lot, Dave Curran here right now with a check of the forecast. So, wait, hold on. Did you say that we might have some flakes in the forecast coming up? There's an opportunity depending on where you are and it's not gonna last long. It's not gonna be anything in the way of accumulations. But I do think that maybe by, you know, this time next week there'll be a storm system that might be able to produce a little bit of a wintery mix. There's still seven days to see how this all evolves. Right now, we're looking at partly cloudy skies with the temperature hovering right around 49 degrees. We're expecting our skies to be clear to partly cloudy going into the overnight hours. So it's a at night, it's a chilly night, but it's a seasonable chill with temperatures in the twenties and thirties. Now, the we're keeping an eye on this, I don't think it's going to be very visible from New Jersey. However, if you are a, a photographer, there's a chance looking north through the overnight that the northern lights might be visible if our skies remain clear, better opportunity to see the northern lights going up in the northern Cats in the Adirondacks. But if you have a clear view of the horizon looking northward and you're in a very dark area of New Jersey, there might be a very, very, very slight chance you might be able to see the northern lights going into the overnight. We do have some clouds that are passing through, that would obviously interfere with the, uh, viewing. But if the skies do clear out, like we're anticipating through the overnight, I think getting up into like the, you know, the Sussex County area towards Ringwood and Passaic County, you'd have a better chance of seeing that tomorrow though. We will see some clouds collecting some on again off again. Showers will be showing up periodically through the day and then we shut it down for Saturday. It's an overcast day. Daytime. High temperatures are still mild in the mid fifties. We have more wet weather coming back in Sunday, going into Monday. And like I was saying, on Wednesday, there's a chance maybe later in the day, some raindrops could change over to some wet snowflakes. I'll have more details on that coming up in just a little.
