It's the talk of the town in Monmouth County – residents are asking what are these drones are doing up in the night sky and who is responsible for flying them?
One thing we do know is that drone pilots are required to follow Federal Aviation Administration regulations. This includes registering drones weighing 0.55 lbs., maintaining a visual line of sight and avoiding restricted areas like airports or national parks. So even if these guidelines are all being followed.

"I didn't know what it was, I thought it was planes flying over until I started seeing on the news," said Sheila Peterson, from Neptune.
Anyone observing unusual drone activity is encouraged to contact their local police department and in addition to that . The FBI’s Newark Office and the New Jersey State Police have set up a dedicated tip line for reports: 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
