A woman is accused of spraying an unknown substance during a disturbance at a Uniondale inn, sending four people to the hospital.

Nassau County police say officers responded to the La Quinta Inn on Stewart Avenue Friday night, where a fight broke out and an unknown substance was sprayed into a crowd.

Police arrested 33-year-old Jacquelyn Chan, who is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Officials say investigators also discovered Chan had an active warrant in Nassau County.

Authorities say four people exposed to the substance experienced irritation and were taken to a hospital for further evaluation.
