The Bronx Zoo's Holiday Lights returns for the season on Nov. 22.
The family friendly event illuminates the zoo after dark, with over 400 unique wildlife lanterns that represent nearly 100 animal and plant species.
A new attraction called "Play with Light" will include interactive glowing walls, shimmering flowers and colored stepping stones with snow and bubble machines.
A holiday train, ice carving demonstrations and illuminated performers will also be on display.
This year, there will be new feature food and drink items, including apple pie nachos, candy cane Dippin' Dots, warm spiked cinnamon apple cider, holiday punch and campfire mules.
The zoo after-dark light show will run from Nov. 22 through Jan. 5. Tickets are required. Holiday Lights Tickets - Bronx Zoo
