Small Business Saturday is a nationwide push to boost business at mom-and-pop shops.
Cow Over the Moon Toys & Sports Memorabilia on Main Street in Huntington is just one of many small stores that shoppers can visit to boost the local economy.
Store owner Joel Dennett says Small Business Saturday is a time when customers can come into their local businesses to show their support.
Dennett says that while it's difficult to compete with the larger retailers, the relationships built with customers are what continue to drive sales.
Small Business Saturday was created by American Express in 2010.
