Holbrook native Christopher Macchio performed at President Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday.
Macchio says he has received thousands of messages congratulating him, and now is even getting requests to perform abroad.
The Long Island singer says performing at the historic event was an honor.
"Just to enter that room and walk the same aisle that the president entered - it was just magnificent," Macchio said.
Macchio also said he has been in talks with President Trump's team about becoming the "U.S. World Music Ambassador."
