In a statement, the university president says everyone must get a booster shot within a week of becoming eligible to receive it.

Hofstra University will be requiring a COVID-19 booster for students and employees in 2022.
In a statement, the university president says everyone must get a booster shot within a week of becoming eligible to receive it.
The requirement will begin with those eligible on or before Jan. 18. Proof must be uploaded by Jan. 18.
Hofstra says the decision was reached after a recommendation from its partners at Northwell Health.
