Hello gorgeous! New survey finds most common pet names for significant others by state

Do you have a pet name for your significant other?
A new study out last week by Wordfinder.yourdictionary.com used search engine and Google ad data to map the most common slang terms by state, including what we call our sweethearts when wanting them to pass the ketchup.
In Maine and Montana "Sweet Pea" was tops. In a dozen states, "Babe" prevailed.
Folks in Texas and Arkansas use "baby doll."
Californians fill themselves up with the word "buttercup."
And New Jersey? We were most likely to use the word "gorgeous."
On today's “Brian's Positively New Jersey,” Brian Donohue hits the streets in Bloomfield to talk with New Jerseyans and see if the pet names people use for their sweetie pies match up with the findings.
