News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Sam Augeri says a heat advisory has been extended for northwestern Long Island as hot and humid conditions continue.

- Remnants of Beryl update: The system looks to track farther north and west with a lot of the rain breaking up before it reaches us. Rain totals are currently much lower, with parts of Long Island possibly not seeing much at all.
