HEADLINES:

Hot and humid weather continues Tuesday with tropical humidity lasting through the week.
Remnants of Beryl update: The system looks to track farther north and west with a lot of the rain breaking up before it reaches us. Rain totals are currently much lower, with parts of Long Island possibly not seeing much at all. With that being said the forecast could still change a little and any showers could bring locally heavy rain with the high humidity. Shower chances start Wednesday night, lasting into Saturday

OVERNIGHT: Mostly cloudy and muggy with areas of fog. Lows near 74 degrees with south winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise: 5:30

TUESDAY: Hot and humid with sun and clouds. Slight chance for a late day pop up storm. Highs near 85 with feels like temperatures in the 90s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunset: 8:25. Partly cloudy and muggy at night with lows near 73.

WEDNESDAY: Very warm and humid with sun and clouds. Slight chance for showers and storms late in the day and at night. Highs near 84. Lows near 72.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny, warm, and humid. Chance for scattered showers and storms. Highs near 84. Lows near 72.
