Health officials are warning Labor Day weekend revelers to be careful because of the concern about the delta variant of COVID-19.
A lot of people will be out on the beach on what's expected to be a mostly sunny weekend, but others say they'll be traveling.
According to the state Health Department, the COVID-19 positivity rate for Long Island right now is over 4%.
More than 80% of adults in Nassau and Suffolk have at least one dose of the vaccine, but those numbers vary outside of New York.

Doctors are urging caution about traveling and gathering in large crowds this holiday weekend.
"It's the areas that are sort of exploding in the south and other places where there are high numbers of unvaccinated patients where the prevalence rates, meaning the total amount of disease in the community is high and dangerous," says Northwell Health chief medical officer Dr. David Battinelli.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends not traveling at all this Labor Day weekend for those who are not vaccinated against COVID-19.
