Health officials will be hosting a forum on the state of the water in Long Beach.

It comes after an E.coli contamination was found in the city's water supply last month.

The public meeting will be on July 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Long Beach Department of Public Works, the Nassau Department of Health and the state Health Department will answer questions from residents.

Back in June, a water sample tested positive for E.coli in Long Beach and prompted a three-day boil water order.
