Mayor Eric Adams announced a $25 million state-of-the-art space to assist the beauty and wellness industry in Brooklyn.

Ayo Labs, a manufacturing, accelerator and incubator facility, is coming to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The center will launch and grow health and beauty businesses by women entrepreneurs of color to give them access they historically haven't had in this industry.

The Ayo Lab is expected to create over 900 direct and indirect jobs in the first five years of its launch.
