Heads or tails: Greenlawn fan used coin toss to accurately predict 6-3 Jets record

The Jets are 6-3 heading into Sunday's game against the Patriots, but one fan in Greenlawn is 9-0 in calling the team's record. And he did it all by using a quarter ... before the season started.
Alex Noon flipped a quarter to call the Jets season back in the summer - heads for a win, tails for a loss. He posted the photo of his predictions on Twitter back on Aug. 21.
"It's been absolutely wild," says Noon.
His toin-coss predictions have gone viral - with the NFL and Fox Sports even sharing the story.
"There has to be some sort of magic for the coin to predict the 6-3 start for the Jets after the decade they've had.  But I think my favorite part of this whole ride is seeing how exciting the Jets fan base has gotten over it," he says.
He's keeping the lucky quarter close.
"I've jokingly said this may be the most important coin in the world right now," says Noon. "Yeah, I sleep next to this coin every night."
That quarter predicted five more Jets wins, a playoff berth and a trip to the AFC championship game.
