The principal of Hampton Bays High School is accused of harassing women over the phone.
Police say 34-year-old Frank Vetro, of Shirley, made phone calls to several women over 11 months. According to police, Vetro made disturbing comments of a sexual nature to them. Police add that Vetro knew some of the victims, but also made random calls to female employees of a clothing and shoe store.
Vetro was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment. The judge granted an order of protection for seven women at Vetro's arraignment in Central Islip Thursday. Vetro pleaded not guilty at his arraignment, where the judge set bail at $17,500.
