Several Half Hollow Hills West High School students are under arrest after a student-organized weekend ski trip to Vermont spiraled out of control.
Police were called in to break up the party after the front desk of the White River Junction received dozens of complaints. Police say 80 students, along with two bus drivers and four tour guides from Action Tours of Amityville, were crammed into 32 rooms and that alcohol, marijuana and cocaine were present.
The Half Hollow Hills West principal says a strongly worded letter has been sent out to parents urging them to talk to their kids about drug abuse.
