Half Hollow Hills Central School District considers adding armed guards

The Half Hollow Hills Central School District is considering having armed guards patrol every one of its schools in unmarked cars.
A letter sent out to the school community says the guards would only go inside the schools if there was an armed intruder.
A public presentation by Covert Investigations & Security about the plan was held Monday evening at the Half Hollow Hills Board of Education meeting.
Anyone who is not able to attend the meeting can contact the Board of Education at boe@hhh.k12.ny.us.
