Along with military and civilian performances you can also
enjoy numerous displays and vendors.
Below is a guide of everything you need to know to see the
show!
WHEN: The 2022 Bethpage Air Show will take place Saturday,
May 28, and Sunday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The second half of Saturday's show was called off for stormy weather, but Sunday has a clear forecast.
WHO'S PERFORMING: Military performers include the
United
States Navy Blue Angels, the United States Army Golden Knights, and Air Force’s
newest fighter aircraft the F-22 Raptor. Civilian performances will include the
GEICO Skytypers, American Airpower Museum Warbirds, Farmingdale State College
Flying Rams, Jessy Panzer, David Windmiller and Michael Goulian.
TICKETS: Advanced purchase of parking tickets is not
required or being offered, unlike in 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions. All
attendees will be required to pay the $10 parking fee per car onsite at the
parking field. The $10 parking fee is covered if you have a New York State
Parks Empire Pass. No other tickets are required to enjoy the air show.
PARKING: After you park your vehicle, make your way to the
beachfront to find a seat and enjoy the thrilling aerobatic demonstrations from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m., each day. Please note, parking is available on a first come,
first-served basis. In year's past, parking lots filled quickly, so an early
arrival is key.
HOW MUCH: Event entry is free, but parking costs $10.
