A gridlock alert is in effect in New York City today due to President Barack Obama's visit for a fundraiser and the Rockefeller Center tree-lighting ceremony.
Big crowds will be at Rockefeller Plaza to watch the 74-foot tree be lit up.
An appearance by Justin Beiber was supposed to draw even more people but his appearance has been pre-taped.
President Obama will also be in town, adding to the traffic alert in the city.
Obama will be in the city for three fundraisers including one in Greenwich Village and another at the Sheraton.
