One of Long Island's biggest music event kicked off Thursday.
The Great South Bay Music Festival runs through Sunday at Shorefront Park in Patchogue.
The lineup includes Kerry Kearney, Dave Mason and The Fabulous Thunderbirds.
It's the festival's 14th year. There will be a mix of classic rock, jazz, jam-band, country, funk and more.
The concert features four stages, including one for children.
Ten bands performed Thursday evening, including Electric Hot Tuna and Dave Mason.
Artist Kerry Kearney says the festival is all about the music and the fans.
"My favorite thing is to see everyone I know," Kearny says. "It's a lot of fun, it's great getting all those people together like that."
Organizers tell News 12 the music festival generates around $5 million a year for Suffolk County.
