Two teens accused in a hate crime beating at a Fourth of July party were cleared by a grand jury of any wrongdoing Wednesday.
Jimmy Blaze and Domineek Washington, both 18, were charged for a fight that left a Valley Stream man seriously injured. The teens say the man and his friends picked the fight, while the man says the teens started it unprovoked.
The Washingtons are calling for a federal probe into why police allowed photographs of the teens to be taken before investigating. Domineek?s father says the two were presumed guilty and were thrown in jail unjustly.
The teens? attorney also wants an investigation into the injured man and his friends.
