Looking for a way to take in some beautiful summer sunsets as the season winds down? Then grab some friends or even some coworkers and enjoy an incredible sunset aboard a Shoreline Trading Company boat.
Coastal Kitchen in Bay Shore teamed up with Fire Island Ferries to create
Shoreline Trading Company. The goal -- providing amazing cocktail cruises on the Great South Bay.
The star of the show is a 1920s styled yacht called the Running Wild. The story is that the boat got the name from one of the rum runners found in the Great South Bay during the prohibition era.
You can cruise the bay in two ways -- actually going under the Robert Moses Bridge during sunset or by getting picked up in Fire Island.
"The sunsets in the Great South Bay, there's nothing like them," says Brendan Mooney, with the Shoreline Trading Company.
So, grab your friends, your coworkers or treat yourself for a happy hour on the water to send off summer in style.
