A more than $100 million roadway improvement project is coming to Long Island.
A large portion of the money will be used to fix potholes and resurface the Long Island Expressway from exits 49 to 63, the Southern State Parkway in both counties, and parts of the Meadowbrook State Parkway.
Hochul also has plans to reconfigure the Oakdale Merge, where Sunrise Highway, Montauk Highway and other roads come together.
New York state has already committed $30 million to begin the project.
Hochul had been scheduled to make the announcement from Kennedy Memorial Park in Hempstead on Tuesday but had to cancel following the subway shooting in Brooklyn.
