Long Islanders will soon be able to ice skate again in the Village of Greenport.
Gov. Kathy Hochul announced a $1.2 million investment to help build a new outdoor ice rink at Mitchell Park.
It will replace the original rink that opened in 2005 and recently closed.
Hochul’s office says the new one will support local youth sports programs.
