Gotti family makes court appearance following assault charges stemming from HS basketball game

According to court documents, the alleged victim said she was punched, and her wig was “ripped off” her head. She said “severe pain” resulted. But the Gottis claim the alleged victim actually threw the first punch, and say they have video which proves it.

Gianna Gotti, daughter of John “Junior” Gotti appeared before a judge in Hempstead Wednesday, with her father by her side.
Gianna Gotti and her mom, Kimberly Gotti, were charged with assault following a high school basketball game that spiraled out of control.
Their lawyer rejected a deal that would have meant anger management classes.
The basketball game was between Locust Valley and Oyster Bay.
According to court documents, the alleged victim said she was punched, and her wig was “ripped off” her head. She said “severe pain” resulted. But the Gottis claim the alleged victim actually threw the first punch, and say they have video which proves it.

Kimberly Gotti did not appear in court. Her lawyer said she is recovering from a recent surgery.
The mother and daughter are due back in court next month.
