Google is looking to make your passwords obsolete.

Instead, the company wants you to create passkeys to unlock accounts and devices - like using a fingerprint, face scan or PIN.

Tuesday, Google said passcodes are easier to remember, quicker to use and also more secure.

It says the technology will now become the go-to option during password creation.

Users will still be able to dodge passkeys altogether and keep their passwords.
