A gang member pleaded guilty Tuesday to the murder of a 15-year-old boy in 2007.
Alvin Brothers was killed in a drive-by shooting over a decade ago.
Trendell Walker, of Patchogue, a well-known member of the Bloods street gang, was arrested and charged with the shooting about two years ago.
The shooting happened when Brothers was leaving a national anti-crime rally at a North Bellport park. A day earlier, Walker says he was assaulted by a group of young men who tried to rob him.
In court Tuesday, Walker pleaded guilty to the murder of Brothers. He will face life in prison.
