Community leaders rallied on the steps of Nassau County's Legislature Tuesday to call on President Donald Trump and his administration to reverse their position on offshore wind power.

A stop work order was issued for Empire Wind 1 - a previously approved offshore wind project off the South Shore of Long Island that supporters say would power 500,000 homes and provide hundreds of jobs.
