Hundreds of mourners attended the third funeral for one of four young women killed in the Cutchogue limo crash.
They gathered at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Kings Park to remember Brittney Schulman, 23, who died along with three of her friends Saturday as they toured wineries on the North Fork.
The other victims were Stephanie Belli, Amy Grabina, both 23, and Lauren Baruch, 24.
During the funeral service, Father Sean Gann described Schulman as a shining star who had a gregarious, bubbly personality.
As News 12 has reported, Steven Romeo's red pickup truck smashed into the limousine as it made a U-turn on County Road 48 at Depot Lane. He was arraigned at his bedside on a charge of driving while intoxicated and is under the custody of the sheriff. He was ordered held on $500,000 cash bail or $1 million bond. Prosecutors have said that Romeo's charges will likely be upgraded.
The final funeral, for Belli, is scheduled for tomorrow at the same Kings Park church.
