Trained employees from Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital taught students at J.W. Dodd Middle School about hands-only CPR and how to use an AED.  

Experts say the two most important steps are to call 911 and to push hard and fast when someone is unresponsive. Here are some tips on how to perform CPR.

'2 Steps to Save a Life': What is hands-only CPR and how to perform it

Students across the state have been required to undergo CPR training before graduating high school since 2015.
