'Free Players Dance Troupe' practices for recital to celebrate Autism Awareness Month

The performance will take place Friday at Candlewood Middle School in Dix Hills at 7 p.m.

Dancers of all abilities have been rehearsing all week for a recital that celebrates Autism Awareness Month.

The "Free Players Dance Troupe" is inviting over 50 dancers to their performance that is set for Friday.

"I am so proud of everybody that came to cheer for us and to make everybody feel proud and good," said Taylor Huertas, one of the dancers.

The performance will take place at Candlewood Middle School in Dix Hills at 7 p.m.
