Former TWA employees gathered in Ridge Sunday ahead of the 10-year anniversary of the doomed Flight 800 plane crash.
Joe Lobosco and Steve Hammer organized the annual meeting. Former employees say it?s a way to remember the 52 employees who lost their lives while doing what they loved. Participants say their hearts and prayers go out to the families of the 230 passengers and flight members who died when the plane exploded and crashed off Long Island due to a fire.
Former TWA employees plan to join the family members at Smith Point Park Monday on the anniversary.
