Former Suffolk County District Attorney Tom Spota and his top aide are seeking a pardon from President Donald Trump.
Justice Department records show the cases are pending.
Spota and Christopher McPartland were convicted of corruption charges in 2019 for trying to cover up a police chief’s beating of suspect seven years earlier.
Both were sentenced to five years in federal prison.
