Ford is recalling nearly 42,000 F-250 and F-350 trucks over an issue with the left rear axle shafts that could increase the risk of crashes.
The recall says if one of those shafts breaks, it could cause "vehicle rollway when the vehicle is placed in park," and an increased risk of an accident.
The recall covers certain 2023 model year trucks, and Ford is sending letters to owners who are impacted.
