A new restaurant concept has made its way to Larchmont, and its already made quite the impression on the community.

There's nothing in Westchester like "Wonder."

The restaurant, which started in Manhattan, just opened their first Westchester location.

"Many people have busy lives, they're just getting off a busy day at work, and then its dinner time, and everyone wants something different," said the senior VP of Restaurant Operations, Jason Rusk.

Wonder in Larchmont is the solution to that problem. People can order from 15 different restaurants, either on the app, or in person, as much as they want, all in one order, on one bill. Consumers can dine in, although there's limited seating, pick it up or have it delivered in under 30 minutes.

"You have world famous chefs like Jose Andres, Bobby Flay, that have helped us create these dishes unique to these individual restaurants," explained Rusk.

There's everything from salads, to steak, Mexican, Italian, Indian, Middle Eastern, and of course dessert.

"It will avoid so much conflict with my family members, because everyone wants something different and you can't get what you want," said Katie Acompora, a new regular.

"I love the cornbread I ordered yesterday. Today, I ordered the burrito bowl with steak and rice," she said.

Be it convenience culture or simply the love of never having to compromise, its been a hit.

"Sunday was not only our busiest day here in Larchmont, but it was also the busiest day for wonder, across all of the locations," said Rusk

It seems that the brick-and-mortar restaurants of the future, have arrived, and another one is coming to Scarsdale this September.
