Florida police: Northport man crashed into ambulance, then a school bus full of children

Authorities say Joseph Saladino, 43, slammed into an ambulance with a patient inside and took off before he collided with the bus.

Police in Florida say a Northport man fled after he crashed into an ambulance with a patient inside. He later crashed into a school bus full of children.
Nobody was seriously injured in either crash.
Joseph Saladino, 43, was charged with driving while impaired.
According to police, he was extremely concerned about going to jail and kept saying he had to get back to New York.
Saladino was charged with DUI with property damage, leaving the scene of a crash and leaving the scene of a crash with injuries.
