One Nassau County student decided to shoot his shot for prom in a special way.

Aiden Roessler, a Floral Park Memorial High School student with autism, scored his date with a ‘promposal’ on the basketball court.

With the help of his teacher and coach, Aiden surprised his longtime friend, Erin, by asking her to join him at the big dance.

During halftime of Unified Basketball game, Aiden grabbed the microphone and presented Erin with a sign that read, “I don’t want to miss this shot, Erin will you go to the prom with me?”

Tara Roessler, Aiden’s mom, tells News 12 Erin was very surprised and the whole crowd cheered when he posed his question.

“Even though he didn’t win the game, he got the prom date,” Tara added.
