Fire rips through home in Central Islip; 4 adults, 1 child forced out

The fire broke out just after 1 a.m. at a home on Half Mile Road.

Officials say five people have been forced out of their home by a fire overnight in Central Islip.
The fire broke out just after 1 a.m. at a home on Half Mile Road.
News 12 has been told several fire departments responded to knock down the flames.
Fire officials say the four adults and one child inside at the time of the fire were able to get out.          
No one was injured.
