Suffolk County must pay $112 million to hundreds of immigrants it detained for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

A federal jury found the county and the Sheriff's Office violated the Constitutional rights of 674 people.

The class action lawsuit was filed after the people were held in county jails between 2016 and 2018.

They were kept for ICE even though they posted bail.

News 12 has reached out to the county for comment and has yet to hear back.
