The town will be dedicating a street in honor of Billy Moon who fell during a training exercise and died in 2022.

An FDNY firefighter from Islip will be honored on Sunday with a street renaming on Sunday.
The town will be dedicating a street in honor of Billy Moon who fell during a training exercise and died in 2022.
Moon donated his organs to five people after his death.
The street renaming ceremony will be held at the intersection of Franklin Street and Webster Avenue at 11 a.m.
