Work is underway to get a Sunset Park deli back up and running after Monday's deadly fire.
The FDNY confirms it was an electrical issue.
Police say 53-year-old Ashiq Hussein died while trying to escape the flames and falling from a third-floor window.
The moments were caught on video.
People who knew Hussein say he was a kind, well-respected man who lived there for years after moving from Pakistan. One worker at the deli was still in shock over the loss.
"It’s tragic for anybody," he said. "Nobody thinks that anything like this is going to happen like this."
Three other people were treated for minor injuries, including a firefighter. A full vacate order remains in effect on the building.
