6 firefighters injured in 3-alarm Brooklyn building fire

Fire crews responded to a three-alarm fire in Williamsburg early this morning that forced an evacuation of several tenants and injured multiple firefighters.

Fire crews responded to a three-alarm fire in Williamsburg early this morning that forced an evacuation of several tenants and injured multiple firefighters.
Officials responded to the building at 499 Grand St. at around 3:30 a.m. for the blaze that badly damaged the building.
Fire officials say the inferno started at Cafe Argentino on the first floor of the building before spreading to the second and third floor apartments above and eventually the neighboring properties.
Six firefighters were hospitalized with minor injuries. All six tenants made it out OK.
