The FBI is warning retailers across the nation to prepare for more cyberattacks.
The warning comes after millions of Target customers had their debit and credit records stolen in a cyberattack during the holiday shopping season.
Neiman Marcus has also said more than 1 million customer cards were exposed during a data breach.
Some shoppers tell News 12 they are worried about using any of their cards.
"You feel victimized, I guess," said Wacey Benjamin, of Freeport. "The most you can do is just hope that you get alerted when stuff like that happens and you can rectify the situation."
