FBI: Former Farmingdale man arrested for beating police with baton during Capitol riot

Federal investigators say Anthony Mastanduno was one of the first people to force his way inside.

A former Farmingdale man was arrested in connection to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
The FBI says Anthony Mastanduno beat police with a baton and then stole their shields to push his way through a tunnel and to the Capitol.
Federal investigators say Mastanduno was one of the first people to force his way inside.
Over 1,100 others are charged in connection to the Capitol riot.
At least 11 of them live on Long Island, according to Justice Department data.
