A Farmingville man pleaded guilty Thursday to operating a drug lab in Ronkonkoma.

Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said 23-year-old Matthew Leshinsky manufactured methamphetamine and other illicit drugs at his business, Quantitative Laboratories, LLC.

“This defendant was operating a Breaking Bad-style drug lab and tried to conceal it under the guise of a legitimate business," Tierney said.

The defendant's drug lab was uncovered when he called police to report a burglary at his business on June 7, 2023.

Leshinsky is due back in court for sentencing on March 20 where he faces over a dozen drug-related charges.
