The family of a student with autism is suing the Levittown School District.

They say a bus driver and bus aide verbally abused the child.

The lawsuit says the student attends East Broadway Elementary School.

Another student recorded the bus aide telling the student, 'Nobody likes you,’ and 'You have no friends.'

The lawsuit claims the bus driver was encouraging other students to join in on bullying.

The incident happened in March of last year.

Both employees were removed from their routes during an investigation, according to the lawsuit.

The district tells News 12 they are aware of the lawsuit, but would not comment further.
