NYPD Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo was killed 9 years ago while responding to a domestic violence incident in The Bronx.

The Elwood native had a love for restoring cars and was working on his 1990 Ford Mustang before he died.

That car had been in the shop since last year, but now Paul’s project is back with his family and fully restored.

Paul's wife tells News 12 it's a great way for their kids to remember their father.

"We've been looking at pictures and videos of prior to Paul’s passing and they actually found video of them sitting in the back of this mustang at 3 and 4 years old," Lisa Tuozzolo says.

Sgt. Tuozzolo is survived by his two sons, Austin and Joey.
