Our fall back into News 12 series in Long Beach. And this morning we're highlighting the city's annual Fall Festival News. Twelve's Jen Selig is there now telling us all about all the fun that you can have this weekend morning, Jen. Hey, good morning. I'm with John Bendo. You're a city councilman and we're about to go on a hay ride. This is something that families can do this weekend. They sure can. This is our 26 th annual Fall Festival. This is uh something that draws huge crowds every year. There's something for everyone, kids, adults, um kids get to do things. They don't normally get to do like riding one of our fire trucks and uh the hay ride and there's all kinds of rides. And the biggest attraction is probably our pumpkin patch. We have over 4000 pumpkins that the kids can pick. And uh but we haven't forgotten the adults because we have a really good food and wine tent too where they could duck into and get some real treats. Oh my gosh. So something for everybody literally. And it starts tomorrow. So Saturday and Sunday, it's Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 p.m. What's your favorite part about it? Probably the kids costume contest. We have some really creative kids that have some great costumes, they get awards and that's really fun to watch the kids do that. I love it. It's going to be a busy weekend here, but all good things, rides, food games, hay rides a little bit of everything. So we're gonna stick around here throughout the morning and send it back to you in the studio, Aaron. All right.

You are looking to celebrate the fall season this weekend, you can head to Long Beach. The city is holding its annual Fall festival. Now, the fun kicks off tomorrow. But our news twelve's Jen Selig is getting a sneak preview this morning morning, Jen. Hey, good morning, Aaron. Yeah, we got the party started this morning with Brendan Finn, the city council president. We are here at City Hall where the festival is gonna kick off throughout the weekend. Right. That's right. The Long Beach Fall Festival. Uh a great time for everybody, for the family, for the kids, for the adults. We have a lot of music. We have a great country band called Rusty Spur. Uh Right now we have wrong sister playing uh uh they play around town, they play Ocean Side as well. We have Brendan Michaelis. He's a local guy. Uh so singer and song writer and guitar player, a great singer. Excellent. And uh actually my band's playing Tabasco Road. Yeah, I love it all supporting the local artists and bands here. Would you say your best part uh about the festival is overall. Besides my band playing. Uh I, I would say watching the kids have a great time. Uh, that's what this is about. I think it's watching the kids on the, on the, uh, on the carousel and the pumpkin patch and, and then they have, uh, also, uh, a lot of different other features here. I think that you're gonna cover later. So I don't want to steal anybody's thunder, you know, coming here doing stories at City Hall. I never realized how big this property actually is to put all these fights behind. Yeah. Right. It's a beautiful property and sometimes they have concerts here, uh, uh, on the street there and they, we fill the, the plaza. It's, it's really nice. It's, it's a great, and it's a great, uh, gathering place for everybody in Long Beach. I love it, live music, food rides, a little bit of everything here. So you gotta come down to the universe.
