A Fairfield business has found a unique way for people to both discard their Christmas tree and help those in need.
Ruscito Resolutions will be collecting trees and taking them to the dump for $20 through Jan. 15.
For every tree picked up, $5 will directly go to Operation Hope.
The nonprofit works to end hunger and homelessness. The collection is a way for the company to give back and set an example for the next generation.
So far, 45 trees have been picked up.
