FAA: Cessna 150 plane crashes at Sussex Airport in Wantage

Federal Aviation Administration officials say only the pilot was on board at the time of the crash.

A small plane crashed at Sussex Airport in Wantage Township Tuesday morning, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

FAA officials say only the pilot was on board the plane at the time.

The single-engine Cessna 150 crashed around 11:45 a.m.

The pilot was able to get out of the plane by himself and was not seriously injured, according to the Colesville Fire Company.

It was not immediately clear why the plane crashed.
